Corn House
PLEASE NOTE: Friday changeover during peak season
Corn House is a delightful spacious cottage sleeping 4 people in 3 bedrooms consisting of 1 double, and 2 single bedrooms. It has a large kitchen / dining room, and a separate sitting room with patio doors to the small enclosed garden. There is plenty of free parking in front of the cottage and covered areas for keeping surfboards, bikes etc. It also has access to a shared play barn.
There are double sound proof inter-connecting doors between Corn House and Horseshoe Barn which, when opened are perfect for accommodating larger family gatherings, the 2 properties combined sleep up to 13 guests. There is also the 3rd cottage which sleeps 6 guests and an additional self -contained annexe sleeping 2 if you are looking for somewhere to celebrate a special occasion. (maximum guests 21).
This is a cosy welcoming cottage and although it is ideal for families, it is also very suitable for couples wanting a break away, (there are reduced rates with minimal occupancy, please contact Ann for available discounts). A lovely local pub is within walking distance and the sea is within a 10 minute drive.
One dog in Corn House is allowed at our discretion, please contact Ann before booking.

Downstairs there is a good sized single bedroom overlooking the back garden and upstairs you will find two further bedrooms, one double bedroom (king size duvet), and a bedroom with a single bed. There is a trundle bed in first floor single bedroom which can sleep an additional guest if requested at the time of booking
Kitchen & Dining
The large family sized kitchen has the original oak beams and is fitted with everything you need for a relaxed self-catering holiday, including an electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and a full sized fridge freezer. It also has a washing machine and a condenser dryer. The dining table comfortably seats 5+ people.
Living Room
The sitting room has 2 comfortable sofas and a tub chair and is a lovely place to sit and relax. It has a flat screen TV, DVD player, CD player and family games in case it rains. There are patio doors which open on to the small enclosed garden with patio furniture, BBQ (charcoal is not provided) and a rotary dryer.
Bathrooms
The bathroom is on the first floor and includes a large walk-in shower.
Outside
The large courtyard has ample parking space for cars and is totally private for guests of Bowood Farm Cottages. It is accessed down a small lane and benches around the edge of the courtyard provide a real suntrap for enjoying a morning coffee.
On Site Facilities
We have the wonderful added facility of a large Play Barn available for the communal use of all our guests. In the barn there is badminton, table tennis, pool tables, air hockey, children’s games and play equipment and also beach equipment for guests to borrow, as well as numerous sofas to sit on. The barn is open from 10am to 8pm.
If you would like to consider hiring this facility for evening entertainment , including trestle tables and chairs please discuss with Ann when booking the cottage.

The beds in all the bedrooms have quality sprung mattresses with all bedding provided together with a bath towel and hand towel for each guest.
Play Barn
We have the wonderful added facility of a large Play Barn available for the communal use of all our guests staying at Bowood Farm Cottages. In the barn there is badminton, table tennis, pool tables, air hockey, children’s games and play equipment and also beach equipment for guests to borrow, as well as numerous sofas to sit on. The barn is open from 10am to 8pm.
Checkin & Checkout
Check-in is from 4pm and a key safe is provided for each cottage.
Check-out is by 10am.
Cancellation Policy
Full refund for cancellations made within 48 hours of booking, if the check-in date is at least 14 days away. 50% refund for cancellations made at least 7 days before check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 7 days of check-in.
House Rules
No stag or hen parties allowed.
One dog in Horseshoe Barn and Corn House is allowed at our discretion, please contact Ann before booking. Our policy regarding dogs is that we ask an extra fee of £40 per dog payable with the booking. We ask that it is kept from going upstairs (stair gates provided if requested) and that it is kept on a lead while outside on the property and in the play barn. Please note that dogs must not be left unattended in the Cottage at any time. We ask that all dog litter is disposed of in the bin provided.
